最近一个月来,地处天津闹市中心的和平区,在全国已是家喻户晓。走进这个原以陈旧闻名的津城南市,如今看到的是,一户户和睦的家庭,一座座整洁的楼院,一条条洋溢着团结、互助和祥和气氛的街道。近50万居民群众广泛参加的评选“十佳公仆”活动、志愿者服务活动、社区文化教育活动和文明小区建设活动,组成了一幅五彩缤纷的社会主义城市精神文明图景。前来参观的人们说,在这里,社区精神文明建设落到实处,取得了“发展的经济建设,安定的社会秩序,完善的服务网络,整洁的社区环境,良好的社会风尚”的丰硕成果。一句话,众手浇开了城市文明花。 和平区的事例说明,群众性的精神文明创建活动,是人民群众移风易俗、改造社会的伟大创造。人民群众是社会主义物质文明建设的主力军,也是社会主义精神文明建设的主力军。
In the recent month, the Heping District, located in downtown Tianjin, has become a household name in the country.
