在香港,许多人都亲切地称范徐丽泰女士为“范太”。范徐丽泰1945年出生于上海。4岁时随家人一起搬到香港居住。此后,她像其他人一样,在这个急速发展的东方大都会里,接受了小学、中学和大学教育。正如她自己所说,她“当时读书资质不高,体育不出众,也更没有什么姿色”。
In Hong Kong, many people affectionately call Ms. Xu Litai “Fan Tai”. Fan Xu Litai was born in 1945 in Shanghai. At age 4, I moved to Hong Kong with my family. Since then, she, like everyone else, has been educated in primary, secondary and tertiary education in this rapidly growing eastern metropolis. As she said, she “was not a good student at the time, did not excel in sports, and did not have much to do with her beauty.”
