据新华社7月22日讯中国文学艺术工作者第三次代表大会7月22日下午在首都隆重开幕。中共中央副主席、中华人民共和国主席刘少奇,中共中央副主席、国务院总理周恩来,中共中央副主席、全国人民代表大会常务委员会委员长朱德,中华人民共和国副主席宋庆龄,中共中央总书记、国务院副总理邓小平,以及党和国家其他领导人彭真、陈毅、陆定一、陈伯达、康生、杨尚昆、沈钧儒等出席了大会的开幕式。当刘少奇、周恩来、朱德、宋庆龄、邓小平等党和国家领导人走上主席台时,全体代表以经久不息的热烈的掌声感谢党和政府对文艺工作者的关怀。中国文学艺术界联合会主席郭沫若主持大会并致开幕词。中共中央政治局候补委员、国务院副总理陆定一代表中共中央和国务院向大会致祝词。中国文学艺术界联合会副主席周扬在会上作了题为《我国社会主义文学艺术的道路》的报告。对祝词、开幕词和报告,代表们怀着兴奋的心情,不断报以热烈的掌声。
According to Xinhua News Agency, July 22, the third congress of Chinese literature and art workers was grandly opened in the capital on the afternoon of July 22. Vice Chairman of the CPC Central Committee, Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Liu Shaoqi, Vice Chairman of the CPC Central Committee, Premier Zhou Enlai of the State Council, Vice Chairman of the CPC Central Committee, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Chu De, Vice Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Soong Ching Ling, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council Deng Xiaoping, as well as other leaders of the Party and state Peng Zhen, Chen Yi, Lu Dingyi, Chen Boda, Kang Sheng, Yang Shangkun and Shen Junru attended the opening ceremony of the conference. When the party and state leaders such as Liu Shao-ch’i, Zhou Enlai, Zhu De, Soong Ching Ling and Deng Xiaoping took to the podium, all the delegates thanked the party and the government for their concern for literary and art workers with their prolonged and enthusiastic applause. Guo Moruo, chairman of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, presided over the meeting and delivered an opening speech. Lu Dingyi, an alternate member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and vice premier of the State Council, delivered a speech on behalf of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council. Zhou Yang, vice chairman of the Chinese Federation of Literary and Art Circles, delivered a speech entitled “The Road to Socialist Literature and Art in China”. In their messages, opening speeches and reports, delegates kept their applause enthusiastically.
