最近两三年来,我省大量引种湿地松、火炬松,受到了各地的重视,造林面积不断扩大,幼林生长良好。但是,由于国外资本家抬高种子价格,我国今后将不再大量进口种子,而湿地松、火炬松需十年左右才开始结实。因此,以后几年内,我省如何发展湿地松、火炬松,是目前急待解决的课题。遵照毛主席关于“自力更生”的教导,我们于今年三月和四月进行了湿地松的压条试验。最近调查,有的处理成活率高,生根良好,特将试验情况与结果整理出来,供各有关单位参考。 第一次压条的时间是三月二十四日,具体方法是:在去年秋梢部位,分别采用环状剥皮、环状剥皮后涂200PPM的萘乙酸溶液和环状剥皮后包500PPM的萘乙酸泥团三种处理。一个月后检查,没有发现生根现象,有的枝条,其环剥部位长粗/粗度与未剥的部位相近。根据这种情况,在四月二十四日的第二次压条时,采用另外一些方法:一种是环剥后适当刮去一部分形成层,以便控制粗生长,另一种是用刀在枝条上切割一个伤口,再夹上塑料布,同时继续用环状剥皮不刮形成层作对照。结果,由于五月份湿地松生长旺盛,需要大量水份,
