棒状链霉菌(Streptomyces clavuligerus)产生的棒酸(Clavulanic acid)是一种新型结构的β-内酰胺类抗生素,虽抗菌活性弱,但它是多种β-内酰胺酶的有效的抑制剂,能提高其他β-内酰胺类抗生素的抗菌作用。如临床上常用的羟氨苄青霉素,对一般敏感菌活性良好,而对产生β-内酰胺酶的耐药菌却无活性,当与棒酸合用时,即能有效地抑制耐药菌。将两者制成口服片剂,定名为Augmentin(BRL25000),每片375mg,其中含羟氨苄青霉素250mg与棒酸125mg。本文
