为加快出口瓶装罐头食品的发展,外贸、轻工两部重点安排了轻瓶科研项目,1979年研制成功并投产现已形成年产3400多万套轻瓶及盖的生产规模,初步满足了我国出口一般食品的需要。但装芦笋、蘑菇由于存在慢漏气等质量问题,尚难推广应用。为此,国家计委批准对无锡合众玻璃厂和无锡印铁制罐厂进行扩建和技术改造;引进技术和设备。扩建后两厂将形成年产1亿套玻璃瓶和四旋盖的包装企业,产品质量达到世界先进水平,将使我国出口食品的轻瓶包装质量迈入世界先进行列,以适应国际市场的需要。

The quality of products reaches the world advanced level and the light bottle packaging quality of our exported foods will enter the advanced ranks in the world in order to meet the needs of the international market .
