我盟次生林山区从自然条件来看,基本上可分为大青山区和蛮汉山区两大类型:前山地区大部属温暖型草原黑炉土地带。凉城、丰镇、兴和、和林县黄土丘陵属半干旱地区。年湿润系数为0.3—0.6%,年降水量为400—450毫米,热量条件好(≥10℃)接近半湿润暖温带;另一种类型是前山、后山交接处卓资、武川、中旗的大青山、灰腾梁山区,属干草原栗钙:土地带。因海拔高度不同植被也不同,年降水量为350毫米左右。土壤为棕褐土、山地淋溶土,阳坡多为散生树木,以及干草原植被,分布着山地栗钙土。

Due to different elevation of the vegetation is also different, the annual rainfall is about 350 mm. Soil is brown soil, mountain leaching soil, sunny slope mostly scattered trees, and steppe vegetation, distribution of mountain chestnut soil.
