基质金属蛋白酶(MMPs)是一组能降解细胞外基质成分的具有重要生理和病理功能的酶。过去研究已对MMPs的生化和结构方面等了解取得了很大的进展,其中包括MMPs的活化,催化机制,底物特异性,组织金属蛋白酶抑制剂(TIMPs)的抑制机制,等,然而仍有许多重要未决问题。为此,本文对MMPs的结构,分类,信号通路,及其在心肌纤维化中的作用等进展进行探讨。
Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) are a set of enzymes that can degrade extracellular matrix components and have important physiological and pathological functions.
