高压密封接头系采用过盈锥度密封和机械连挂机构所组成的纯机械性结构型式。如图所示,本接头主要由母锥体,外箍和公锥体所组成。公母锥体分别通过支口与被连接管焊牢。母锥体的外沿有三个对称分布的凸爪,凸爪左端面上各有一条行程为10~15mm的螺旋面,外箍的左端面上有三个对称分布的凹口。安装时,使公母锥体上的三个凸爪和凹口对正插入(因外箍可自由旋转,故很容易对正),将外箍3转动一个小角度(约45°左右),使外箍凹口的侧面同凸爪左端面的螺旋面作用,迫使公锥体向左移动10~15mm,使公母锥体的锥面稍有过盈的紧密配合而达密封之效。本接头有以下优点:
