本文解决了任意折射率分布单模光纤色散的计算问题.文中引入了光纤的“光学尺寸”这一无量纲参数,并由此导出了新的单模色散公式.色散公式中的各参数分别利用变分-有限元法和Sellmeier系数算出.我们利用依此编制的计算机程序计算了各方次律分布单模光纤在1.3μm和1.55μm这两个低损窗口处的色散曲线,研究了折射率中间凹陷对阶跃单模光纤色散的影响.文中提供的方法不仅可用于计算实际单模光纤的色散,还可用来研究新型光纤,为单模光纤的设计、制造和测量提供重要资料.
In this paper, we solve the problem of calculating the dispersion of single-mode fiber with arbitrary refractive index distribution.The dimensionless parameter “optical size” of optical fiber is introduced and a new single-mode dispersion formula is deduced.The parameters in the dispersion formula are respectively Variational-Finite Element Method and Sellmeier Coefficient.We calculated the chromatic dispersion curves of the low-loss windows of 1.3μm and 1.55μm for each order-mode single-mode optical fiber by using the computer program compiled in this way, studied the refractive index The influence of the middle recess on the dispersion of step single mode fiber The method provided in this paper can not only be used to calculate the dispersion of the actual single mode fiber, but also to study the new type of fiber, which provides important information for the design, fabrication and measurement of single mode fiber.
