美术之所以在西方发达国家受到重视,就是因为他们认识到美术在培养人方面的重要性,而我们国家的教育形式,虽然在教育大纲中将美术放在重要的位置,但体现不出美术在整个教育中的教育作用,从学校、学生的角度都没有体现,原因其实很简单,在应试高考的高压之下美术教育作为一项长期的、隐性的教育并不能立即体现教育的成果而被放在最其次位置,这是美术教育工作者的无奈和悲哀,长此以往,美术教育者就觉得自己是闲人,是有许多空余时间的人,于是就干起了许多与美术教学无关的杂事,美术教育的现状很不乐观。
