该技术由日本金属材料技术研究所开发。先将圆筒形坯料放入凹模内,并在筒内注入所需镀敷的金属(熔状或半熔状均可),然后进行加压胀形。胀形内压力能使熔状金属熔敷于筒形件内侧表面,所以实际上同时进行了胀形、镀敷的复合加工,简化了操作工序。由于胀形件内侧面的氧化层被破坏,出现新表层可从增加压力效果,促进熔敷反应,从而获得牢固
