晚明士人馮夢禎的《快雪堂日記》是一部具有文學、藝術、宗教、經濟等多重價值的重要文獻。《快雪堂日記》以馮夢禎萬曆十五年至萬曆三十三年的生活行跡爲主要内容,如實地記録了這位退隱之士多姿多彩的生活景況。其生活所涉的關目甚多,本文僅擇其中較具體者,如鑒古、山水之遊、助緣佛事這三項子題略作説明。同時,逍遥快活也並非馮氏生活的全部内容,經濟的困仄是他日記中的常態事實,仔細梳理馮夢禎在《快雪堂日記》中的經濟帳,能讓我們更全面地瞭解馮夢禎的生活實況。
