近年来,在扩大开放新形势的大力推动下,广西乡镇企业外向型经济取得了较大的成绩。1994年,乡镇出口商品生产企业已达659家,完成出口商品交货额218594万元,比上年增长114 %,有4家企业获得了自营进出口权,结束了广西乡镇企业没有自营进出口权的历史,实现了零的突破。广西乡镇企业外向发展的主要特点是:快、宽、多、大。快,就是发展的速度快。据统计,全区乡镇企业到1994年底止,兴办“三资”企业491家,出口产品交货额的增幅一年上一个台阶。
