从我了解的一些情况来看,民办小学教材的使用情况,大致可以分为三类:大部分学校采用国家編写的課本;一部分学校既选用了国家課本,又选用了“旧书”,如《百家姓》、《千字文》、《杂字》、《三字經》、《昔时賢文》等;小部分学校,是专門教“旧书”。目前为什么会出現一些教“旧书’的現象呢?我曾問过一些家长,他們說:“我們要求子女读书,主要是希望他們多认些字,多学点农村适用的东西,并不要求他們象公立小学那样,門門功課都学”。又說:“《百家姓》、《杂字》等“旧书”
