目前大学英语教学改革的重点是从基础英语教学转向特殊用途英语和通识类英语教学,各校建立个性化的大学英语教学体系,提高学生的英语综合能力和文化素质。本文通过研究《大学英语教学要求》和《高等学校英语专业英语教学大纲》两个纲领性文件,从教学目标、教学内容、教学方法等三方面分析比较《英美文学》专业课程和《英美文学》公共选修课的差异,旨在抛砖引玉,为英美文学公选课的定位发展出谋划策,为大学英语教学改革尽绵薄之力。
At present, the reform of college English teaching focuses on the shift from basic English teaching to special-purpose English and general English teaching. Each university establishes a personalized college English teaching system to improve students’ comprehensive English ability and cultural quality. This thesis analyzes and compares the professional curriculums of Anglo-American literature and Anglo-American literature from the three objectives of teaching objectives, teaching content and teaching methods by studying two requirements of “College English Teaching Requirements” and “English Teaching Syllabus for English Majors” The differences of public elective courses are designed to give pointers to others and make suggestions for the orientation and development of elective courses in Anglo-American literature, and make a modest contribution to the reform of college English teaching.
