I. Introduction Oil well wax is composed of isoparaffin paraffin C_ (18) ~ C_ (35) and C_ (35) ~ C_ (64) isoparaffin and pectin, asphalt, silt and a small amount of water. Well waxing is a common problem in oil recovery.
