山东省烟台市特殊教育学校始建于1887年,是中国最早的聋校之一。学校座落于烟台市芝罘区,校园占地面积11925平方米,建筑面积13170.16平方米,现有23个教学班,其中聋生部15个班,盲生部8个班,涵盖学前教育、义务教育和职业教育3个学段,在校生近300人;教职工113人,专任教师82人,其中高级职称35人,省特级教师5人,多人获省、市优秀教师、教学能手称号。近年来,该校始终坚持理念创新,在“做好本色就是特色”的思想指导
