论文基于中国2003-2013年省级面板数据,从理论和实证两方面分析了互联网发展对城镇居民各项消费支出的影响。研究表明:从全国总体来看,互联网发展对城镇居民消费具有显著的促进作用,同时互联网能够促进居民消费结构由生存型消费向享受型与发展型优化升级;从地区层面来看,互联网对东部地区城镇居民消费影响程度明显大于中西部地区。研究也表明,中国居民消费具有显著的惯性,收入、社会保障与就业等因素也影响居民消费。
Based on the provincial panel data from 2003 to 2013 in China, the dissertation analyzes the impact of Internet development on various consumer expenditures of urban residents from two aspects of theory and evidence. The research shows that: from a national point of view, the development of the Internet has a significant role in promoting the consumption of urban residents. Meanwhile, the Internet can promote the optimization and upgrading of consumption structure from subsistence consumption to enjoyment and development. At the regional level, The impact of urban residents’ consumption in the region is obviously greater than that in the central and western regions. Research also shows that Chinese residents have significant inertia in their spending, and factors such as income, social security and employment also affect household consumption.
