H.264 / AVC video compression standard for channel error robustness is the focus of its error control technology to assess, we call the error assessment technology FMO. We investigated how FMO as an H.264 error control technique best handles transmission errors and packet loss in a network that is prone to errors. A new approach to map macroblocks to stripe groups using MBAmaps has been adopted, which can help in error concealment techniques in decoding and improve the subjective and objective performance of the received video.
