乘着十四大的浩荡春风,迎着市场经济的汹勇浪潮,伟大祖国的历史巨轮驶进了公元1993年。值此辞旧迎新之际,我们《图书馆建设》编辑部全体同志深情地向全国读者拜年,衷心祝福您新年快乐,身体健康,事业更进。过去的一年,全国图书馆界广大同志,在邓小平南巡重要讲话和党的十四大精神的鼓舞与指导下,贯彻党的基本路线的坚定性进一步提高,思想进一步解放,为经济建设服务的自觉性大大增强,图书馆事业的发展正面临着一个前所未有的极好机迂。党的政策的宽松,社会主义市场经济的形成,第三产业的蓬勃崛起,人民群众信息意识的普遍增强,都给图书馆事业的发展提供了十分有利的条件。但是改革的大浪潮,也给图书馆界带来了前所未有的巨大冲击,使我们恰逢现实的机迂,也面对历史的挑战。抓住机迂就能乘势而上,坐失良机就会顺潮而下。素有坚韧不拔、勤奋求实精神的图书馆人,正为寻求事业前进的新路而深思冥想。
