在众多的汉字工具书中,有一本崭新的字典。它就是1990年9月,由周冰洋、刘植婷、姚世全等同志编辑,宇航出版社出版的《常用汉字编码字典》。这是一种中文信息处理的基本工具书,也是我国出版的第一部综合性汉字编码字典。该字典介绍古老的汉字与现代电脑奇妙结合,巧结“良缘”的奥秘和作法,具有时代特色,反映了我国汉字信息处理的最新成果。这部字典不同于一般汉字字典,其它字典是以字为单位,解说字的音、形、义,而这部字典的任务是向读者介绍汉字单字的22种编码。所谓汉字编码,就是运用各种符号,将单个汉字转换成代码。代码是汉字信息处理技术领域内的基础,是汉字进入计算机的重要手段。
In many Chinese books, there is a brand new dictionary. It is September 1990, by Zhou Bingyang, Liu Zhuting, Yao Shizhen and other comrades editor, published by Aerospace Press “common Chinese character encoding dictionary.” This is a basic tool for Chinese information processing, is also published in China’s first comprehensive Chinese character encoding dictionary. The code is the foundation of Chinese character information processing technology and is an important means for Chinese characters to enter the computer.
