文化之于民族,如同根系之于树木。周作人在《谈日本文化书》中写道“文化是民族的最高努力的表现”。文化,是一个民族发展过程中所创造的精神财富和物质财富的总和,是一种溶于血液的身份认同。自2003年创刊的《家庭画报国际版》虽是一本以展示日本艺术和文化为宗旨的杂志,却绝非民族主义的拥趸。主编三宅暁(Satoru Miyake)对文化的开放态度让人为之震动:“日本的文化和传统并不必须由日本人在日本境内传承下去。重要的是,那些真正理解和激赏文化的人能够让文化存活,靠近我们的生活,而不是变得难以触及。”
Culture is in the nation, just as roots are in trees. Zhou Zuoren wrote a book on “Japanese culture” that “culture is the manifestation of the nation’s highest efforts.” Culture is the sum of spiritual wealth and material wealth created in the process of national development and is a blood-soluble identity. Although the International Version of Family Illustrated Pictures, launched in 2003, is a magazine that aims to showcase Japanese art and culture, it is by no means a nationalist fan. The editor-in-chief Satoru Miyake’s openness to culture is shocking: “Japanese culture and tradition do not have to be inherited by Japanese people in Japan, and importantly, those who really understand and appreciate culture can make Culture survives, lives close to our lives, and does not become inaccessible. ”
