文摘性期刊多为文献检索工具,它不仅通过描述文献的外部特征,而且它还扼要地摘录原文内容来报导新文献。这种文摘性期刊的特点是:(1)内容广泛:(2)信息量大:(3)索引多而全。这种期刊深为读者欢迎,借阅率高,对这类期刊中索引的处理应极慎重。现就此问题谈谈自己的看法。化学文摘(CA)等,为了方便读者查阅当期报导的文献,在每期后面都编有几种索引(单号期3种,双号期4种)。全卷出齐后,重新编制当卷索引多种(普通主题索引,化学
Digest journals are mostly document retrieval tools, which not only report the new literature by describing the external characteristics of the document, but also concisely extract the original content. The characteristics of this digest journals are: (1) a wide range of content: (2) a large amount of information: (3) index more and more. This type of periodical is well received by readers and has a high borrowing rate. The indexing of such periodicals should be handled with extreme caution.
