同志们:全省公共图书馆工作会议开了三天,今天闭幕了。省委、省府十分重视这次会议,卢钟鹤副省长、省委宣传部邹启宇副部长在百忙中抽出时间到会讲了话,给同志们以很大的鼓舞。会上,张岳群同志代表省文化厅所作的讲话,回顾了“七五”期间全省的图书馆工作,提出了实施“八五”图书馆计划的意见。同志们着重对下一步的工作进行了热烈的讨论,普遍认为这次会议时间虽短,但内容充实,收到了坚定方向、明确目标、提高信心、鼓舞士气的效果。因此,同志们反映会议是开得及时的,大家都比较满意。今年是“八五”计划的第一年。文化厅正在制订文化工作的“八五”计划,图书馆的计划是订得最早的,群众文化、博物馆等各个部类的“八五”计划还在制定中。会议之前,厅里已把全省公共图书馆事业“八五”计划的初稿发到各市、县征求意见。会议前夕,根据各地的意见进行了修改补充。会议期间,大家再作深入的讨论。同志们总的看法是,这个计划适应我省两个文明建设的需要,是符合我省实际情况的。虽然执行起
Comrades: The provincial public library working conference opened for three days and ended today. The provincial party committee and government attach great importance to this meeting. Vice Governor Lu Zhonghe and Vice Minister Zou Qiyu of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee took time out of their busy schedule to speak out and gave great encouragement to the comrades. At the meeting, Comrade Zhang Yuequn made a speech on behalf of the Provincial Department of Culture, reviewed the work of the province’s libraries during the Seventh Five-Year Plan and put forward their opinions on implementing the “Eighth Five-Year” Plan of the Library. The comrades focused their heated discussions on the next stage of work. They generally agreed that the meeting was short but rich in content and received a firm direction, a clear goal, and a boost in confidence and morale. Therefore, comrades said that the meeting was open in a timely manner and everyone was satisfied. This year is the first year of the Eighth Five-Year Plan. The Cultural Affairs Department is formulating the Eighth Five-Year Plan for cultural work. The plan of the library was earliest set, and the Eighth Five-Year Plan for mass culture, museums and other departments is still under development. Before the conference, the first draft of the Eighth Five-Year Plan of the public library in the province had been sent to cities and counties for comments. On the eve of the meeting, it was revised and supplemented according to the opinions of different places. During the meeting, we will make further discussion. The general opinion of our comrades is that this plan accords with the needs of the two civilizations in our province and is in line with the actual conditions in our province. Although implemented
