桤木育苗是一项技术性较强的工作.南充地区桤本育苗从1983年起用塑料小棚和露地育苗两种方法试验,于1984年8—10月进行了57块样地的调查,并测量了根系、根瘤菌和幼苗的生物生长量.现将调查材料整理如下.一、调查地区的自然概况南充地区,位于四川盆地中部嘉陵江中下游,东经105°25至107°01‘,北纬32°07′至30.06′之间.海拔高度为300—1100米,年平均气温15—7.8°C,极端最低气温-2—-5°C,极端最高气温39—41.5°C,全年无霜期280—330天.年降雨量930—1340毫米,5—6月占年降雨量的68—75%,属中亚热带湿润气候.
