“八·六海战”和“崇武以东海战”的重大胜利是令人振奋和鼓舞的。当我们赶到这两个战艇部队时,更被那一件件激动人心、发人深思的英雄事迹所感动。在“海上英雄艇”上,航海班长张志兴同志为我们介绍艇队歼灭“剑门”“章江”的经过。一节节海上近战、夜战的“拼杀”情景固然使我们听了感到兴奋,但使我们更受教育和鼓舞的,是他讲述战士们在战斗中的英勇表现。他最后集中讲述一个年青的轮机战士在弹片打进额骨、脑浆流溢、血水糊眼的情况下,仍然坚持战斗三个多小时,直到战斗胜利,这时我们心头激荡、热泪盈眶,感到自己身上增添了一股巨大的力量,脑子里不住地回响着:麦贤得!麦贤得!
