“Shanghai Economy” first issue of 2000 published CAO Siyuan’s “view of state-owned economy.” The article analyzes the four ways that Chinese state-owned enterprises produce and concludes that the result of the continuous political revolution in state-owned enterprises is not an inevitable requirement for the development of the productive forces.
