Prevalence of infectious diseases is an important indicator to evaluate human health. In order to monitor the epidemic trend of infectious diseases and provide a scientific basis for prevention, it is urgent to study the impact of environmental factors on intestinal infectious diseases of residents. The author conducted an epidemiological investigation on 19 areas where the drinking water quality was obviously not in conformity with hygiene requirements and some areas with high prevalence and collected the monitoring data for many years in each area. It was concluded that water was the main factor in the epidemic of intestinal infectious diseases. The natural and climatic conditions of drinking water in different districts are different. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that drinking water is contaminated with different levels of microorganisms
