应用同位素可以解决许多水文地质问题,有定量的也有定性的.应用氧同位素确定地下水在含水层巾的停留(径流)时问是一个定量的方法一、方法原理1970年Kusakabe等人提出了一个解释O~(18)季节变化的模型,应用这个模型可以计算地下水在含水层中的平均停留(径流)时间.该方法后来由Tron等人进行简化并应用.这个模型首先设含水层是均质的潜水含水层,其中水的体积为V,O~(18)的大量为δ_v;含水层由大气降水补给,入口流量为Q_E,O~(18)含量为δ_p;含水层的出口流量为Q_s,O(18)含量为δ_s.含水层中O~(18)平均含量δ_v的更替,在给定的时刻由下式表示:
