“保持共产党员先进性教育活动”自2005年1月开始,2006年6月结束。开展先进性教育活动是中央深入研究新时期所面临的形势、任务及党员情况后作出的重大决策。从作出决策到提出意见,从开展试点工作到全面部署教育活动,历时4年。较之于以往的党内教育活动,这次先进性教育活动有两大创新:一是内容上突出履行执政使命,提高执政成效;二是方式上突出人民群众参与、监督和评议。
“Keeping the advanced nature of Party members educational activities” started in January 2005 and ended in June 2006. Carrying out education on advanced nature is a major policy decision made by the Central Government after a thorough study of the situation and tasks confronting the new era and the membership of the party. From making decisions to putting forward opinions, starting from the pilot work to the full deployment of educational activities took four years. Compared with the previous education activities within the Party, there are two innovations in this advanced education campaign: one is to highlight the fulfillment of the ruling mission in the content and enhance the effectiveness of governance; the other is to emphasize the participation, supervision and comment of the people in terms of ways.
