世界会计师大会(World Congress of Accountants,缩写WCOA)是由国际会计师联合会(IFAC)组织召开的全球会计师会议。世界会计师大会创建迄今已有106年,举办过17届。最近的三届会计师大会,与会代表均在5000人以上。与会者来自分布在124个国家和地区的159个IFAC成员组织,代表全球250多万名会计师。世界会计师大会也被称为国际会计界的“奥林匹克盛会”。第18届世界会计师大会将于2010年11月在马来西亚吉隆坡举行。本刊特组织编辑了相关情况介绍,供参考。
The World Congress of Accountants (WCOA) is a global accountant conference organized by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). The World Accountants Conference has been established 106 years so far and has held 17 sessions. The latest three accountants conference, participants were more than 5,000 people. Attendees come from 159 IFAC member organizations in 124 countries and represent more than 2.5 million accountants worldwide. The World Accountants’ Conference is also known as the “Olympic Games” in international accounting. The 18th World Congress of Accountants will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in November 2010.
