近年来,拥有全国文艺界广大读者的《文艺报》,非常关切当代中国美术,它不仅很有眼光地发表了一系列很有分量的美术理论文章,并及时展开讨论,而且经常还在很有影响力的头版“时评”专栏中对美术理论评论界的重要举措进行评述和宣传,起了很积极的推动作用。 文艺报“时评”专栏作家木弓,本名张陵,是一位对中国当代文艺发展现状很有敏锐洞察力的文艺评论家(本人是《文艺报》总编助理,“作家论坛周刊”主编)。这里,我们选择他的几篇有关美术的“时评”转载于下,以飨《美术》杂志的读者。木弓在“时评”中,高度评价“美术理论批评家们思想的活跃和思路的正确”,他认为“美术界的现象给我们一个启发,那就是文艺评论要有直面文艺现实矛盾,干预文艺现实的勇气”。他还认为,“美术理论批评的活跃反衬出文学理论的冷寂”。这当然是对美术理论评论界的一种鼓励,我们自知还有许多工作需要做。我们希望今后能够继续与《文艺报》共同携手,与文艺界各姊妹艺术共同携手,为消除西方现代主义、后现代主义混乱思潮所造成的不良影响,为中国当代文艺沿着先进文化的前进方向健康发展而踏踏实实多做一些实际有效的工作。
