远红外线是一种不可见光,有很强热穿透能力已被人们所认识.应用远红外线烘干技术近几年才在生产、生活上得到应用,如:金属喷漆烘干、各类食品烘干、中药材烘干、棉毛制品烘干和木材烘干等.采用远红外技术烘干其节能效果和经济效益十分显著.特别是利用此项技术烘干木材的节能效果和经济效益尤为明显.它与传统的锯末坑炕、蒸气干燥木材等工艺相比具有质量好、周期短、节约能源和资源.成本低、投资少、操作简便、节省人力等优点.现就唐山市木材公司研制的“DYHM—6型远红外木材烘干炉”近几年烘干木材的实践来介绍远红外线烘干木材的工艺特点,节能效果和经济效益.
