在反向注入辅助光的条件下对基于半导体光放大器(SOA)中交叉增益调制(XGM)的全光波长转换进行了研究,分析了该方案中转换信号的眼图消光比、信噪比与所注入辅助光的功率、波长之间的关系.实验结果表明,注入适当功率和波长的辅助光后,转换信号的眼图信噪比可提高6~10dB,明显改善了转换信号眼图的质量,降低了系统的误码率,提高了系统的灵敏度.
The all-optical wavelength conversion based on cross-gain modulation (XGM) in semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) is studied under the condition of reverse auxiliary light injection. The eye extinction ratio, signal-to-noise ratio The relationship between the power and the wavelength of the injected auxiliary light is shown in the experiment.The experimental results show that the signal to noise ratio of the converted signal can be increased by 6 ~ 10dB after injecting the auxiliary light with appropriate power and wavelength, which obviously improves the quality of the converted signal eye diagram , Reducing the system’s bit error rate, improve system sensitivity.
