吕启凤同志是长春话剧院的著名演员,在长期艺术生涯中,她不畏艰辛,执着追求,较为出色地创造了不少成功的舞台形象,形成了她所特有的表演风格。“首先让角色在心里活起来”早在六十年代初,长春的话剧舞台上一出《雷雨》,曾打动了不少人的心。其时尚鲜为人知的吕启凤由于成功地扮演繁漪而赢得了观众很高的赞誉。当初宋振庭同志看了演出赞不绝口,称赞吕启凤对“人物性格基调把握得好”,并且让吕启凤同志谈谈体会。可是,吕启凤没有谈自己的成功,却怀着一种难以说清楚的心情追述了自己在话剧舞台上塑造的第一个角色——魏萍。凡是了解吕启凤的同志都深知,昔日扮演魏萍的失败与今天扮演繁漪的成功之间的关系。
