Objective To investigate the clinical features of chronic heart failure and electrolyte imbalance. Methods Electrolytes in 185 patients with chronic heart failure were analyzed. Results There was significant difference in serum sodium level and serum potassium between Grade IV of cardiac function and Grade III of cardiac function, while there was no significant difference between Chlorine and Calcium. In the incidence of electrolyte disturbance, Grade IV of cardiac function was lower than Grade III of cardiac function The incidence of hypokalemia, hyponatremia, hypokalemia and hyponatremia increased significantly, the difference was significant. Conclusions The clinical manifestations of chronic heart failure and electrolyte imbalance are common and important prognostic factors. Inpatients should routinely check the electrolytes on admission and regularly review.
