1973年荷花公社民主大队在无产阶级文化大革命和批林整风运动的推动下,粮食生产在上年增产的基础上,又取得较大幅度的增产。全大队1210亩早稻平均亩产852.5斤,超过历史最高水平;1413亩连作晚稻平均亩产748.5斤,与1972年相比,单产提高174.5斤,增长30.4％;总产增加24万斤。由于晚稻的大幅度增产,全大队在弥补春粮减产以后,全年仍净增18万斤。第一次实现了粮食亩产双跨《纲要》,达到1632斤,比1972年1483斤增产10％;比文化大革命前的1965年1297斤,增产25.8％。
In 1973, under the impetus of the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution and the campaign of rectification and rectification, the Democratic Battalion of the Lotus Commune achieved a more substantial increase in production based on the increase in output in the previous year. The average output of 1210 mu of early rice in the whole group was 852.5 kg, more than the highest level in history. The average yield of 1413 mu of continuous cropping late rice was 748.5 kg. Compared with 1972, the yield per unit area increased by 174.5 kg or 30.4%. The total output increased by 240,000 kg. Due to the substantial increase of late rice, the entire brigade still makes a net increase of 180,000 kg for the whole year after making up for the reduction in the output of spring grain. For the first time, a “program” of cross-strait production of grain per mu reached 1,632 catties, an increase of 10% over 1,483 catties in 1972; and an increase of 25.8% over 1,297 catties in 1965 before the Cultural Revolution.
