《南国红豆》1999年第1期刊登黎田论文《发扬“善变”传统适应时代所需》(以下简称《善变》),我认为该文很好。该文作者回顾了一百多年来的“粤剧发展史”,特别是新中国成立后的五十年,粤剧走过坎坷发展的艰苦路程,读来使人历历在目,自觉深有同感;同时他还为粤剧的改革和发展,提出许多颇有见地的倡议,使我进一步深受启迪。因而引发秃笔应命,顺风使(巾里),为“善变”击鼓鸣金和摇旗呐喊:而且人老了,总喜欢说,“想当初”或者“曾记得”……
