1951年开明书店出版的《新文学选集》,是新中国第一部汇集五四以来作家选集的丛书,丛书出版后深受读者的欢迎,被誉为“新文学的纪程碑”。丛书由“新文学选集编辑委员会”编选,时任文化部部长茅盾任主编,时任出版总署副署长叶圣陶,时任中宣部文艺处处长、作协党组书记兼副主席、《文艺报》主编丁玲,文艺理论家杨晦等任编委会委员。
The Selected Works of New Literature published by the Kaiming Bookstore in 1951 is the first collection of writers in the collection of writers since the May Fourth Movement in New China. The series was well received by readers after its publication and was praised as “the milestone of new literature.” The series was compiled by Editorial Board of New Literature Selection and was then chief editor of the Department of Culture Mao Dun.
