“在一个人民的国家中还要有一种推动的枢纽,这就是美德。”孟德斯鸠的这句名言似乎从某种角度阐明了道德的作用。相对于法律刻板冷峻的刚性,道德的作用显得柔软而有渗透力,法律如同社会外围不可逾越的红线,而道德,则浸润在整个社会,存在于每个人的内心,从内向外发散影响。
“It is also virtue to have a hub for promotion in a people’s country.” This famous statement of Montesquieu seems to clarify the role of morality in some ways. Relative to the rigidity of the rigid rigid law, the role of moral appears soft and infiltration, the law as the insurmountable red line outside the community, and morality, then infiltration in the community as a whole, in everyone’s heart, from the inside out.
