早在上世纪80年代,投影机就出现在国内市场了,当时只限于商业运营。因为那时的投影机均属三管式前投影,投影机和屏幕是分离的,不仅要占较大的场地,且屏幕和投影机的距离、安装角度都有严格要求。受当时技术水平限制,投影机的调整也极为复杂,仅动会聚调整一项,就有40～60只电位器,一旦会聚不良(即图像边缘出现三种颜色),只有请专业人员进行调整了。上述因素制约了前投影机进入家庭。
