为加快杉木种子园的建设步伐,加速实现林木良种化,我场职工在毛主席革命路线指引下,学习无产阶级专政理论,破除迷信,解放思想,从一九七四年起在圃地内进行培育杉木嫁接苗试验,收到一定的效果。如我场一九七五年栽植的嫁接苗,今年九月初调查,平均树高1.56米,最大树高2.1米,平均基径3.1厘米,最大基径4.5厘米,冠幅1.08米,结实率63%。一九七五年生产嫁接苗两千多株,给本县社队林场试栽,深受欢迎。
