中国传统史学研究中,有一个值得注意的现象,那就是史学史研究比较繁荣,而史学批评史的研究则相对贫乏。其明显标志就是迄今尚无一部系统的史学批评史专著。中国有很丰富的史学批评遗产,如何总结我国史学批评的理论与方法,探求古代史学批评的发展规律,是当今史学界一个十分重要而亟待深入的课题。令人高兴的是,这一课题日益为当代史学家所关注,并有一些学者开始涉足这一领域.张三夕博士新近出版的《批判史学的批判——刘知几及其〈史通〉研究》(台湾文津出版社1992年9月版,以下简称《批判史学》)一书,正是近年来这方面具有代表性的成果之一。它以较为系统和科学的论述,为现代意义上的中国史学批评史的建设奠定了初步的基础。《批判史学》一书一改过去史学史的思路,把对刘知几及其《史通》的
One notable phenomenon in the study of Chinese traditional history is that the study of history and history has been prosperous, while the study of history and criticism has been relatively poor. Its obvious mark is that there is no systematic monograph on history criticism so far. China has a rich heritage of historical criticism.
