由于受突如其来的“非典”疫情影响,原本定于2003年4月在山西省召开的全国农村公路建设现场会被迫取消,各地同行未能亲身体验山西农村公路建设的热潮,学习、借鉴他们的建设经验,现在看来,这是一个无法挽回的遗憾。星星之火可以燎原。从黎城到长治到全省,山西省农村公路建设的成就说明了先进典型巨大的带动意义。本刊记者组专程赴山西,对山西农村公路建设进行了全方位采访,希望通过这次采访,展示出山西农村公路建设的精髓,对全国农村公路建设的顺利进行起到良好的促进作用。
