Jiang Tingtao (fú) (1895-1965) was a Shaoyang native of Hunan. He studied abroad and obtained a bachelor’s degree in history from Oberlin College in the United States. Reciprocal to Columbia University Institute, in 1923 received a doctorate of history. After returning to Nankai University professor of history, Tsinghua University, director of history.
