The Financial Times's selection of the “World's Most Admired Companies” in 2002 shows that in the top 90 companies, most of them are from Europe and the United States, while two from Brazil and two from India, 1 from Mexico but no 1 Chinese company. Moreover, in the 90 companies that have been selected during the same period “the most influential enterprises in emerging markets in the next 5-10 years”, we still can not find the name of a Chinese company. It is not difficult to conclude that the world optimistic about the Chinese market, but not too optimistic about China's national enterprises.
