The article analyzes the current problems in the management of public security forces from the aspects of police quantity and quality, and discusses the ways of police resource development in China based on the characteristics of British police system and management: to improve the incentive mechanism with performance evaluation as the main content; Growth environment; reform of public security management system; adjustment of public security education strategy; speed up the pace of science and technology police.
