课外阅读在语文教学占有相当大的比重。通过大量阅读,学生能感知丰富的语言材料,增强语言积累,提高读书能力,从整体上增强语文素养。然而,农村小学生由于受办学条件、家庭环境等因素的影响,小学生的课外阅读量很小。一些教师还习惯于把要学的新知识硬灌给学生,把自己对教材的理解、体会硬塞给学生,让学生记结论背概念,使学生的目光只盯着课本,逐渐造成了学生思路不宽,思维不活的弱点,进而导致作文能力低,极大影响了教学效果。因此,引导学生课外阅读是当前教育教学工作的重中之重。
