Knowledge is the result of an individual’s active cognition, social interaction, and language use. Students create meaning and take the initiative to create knowledge through the miniature society of the classroom. This article analyzes the discourse structure of a college English classroom dialogue and explores how classroom participants construct classroom activities and dialogues.
